The Intel Reader is a hand held device that transforms printed text to spoken word for people with reading disabilities.

For people who struggle to read standard print, the Intel Reader will increase reading independence and is especially useful for students who have low vision or a reading disability, such as dyslexia.

Anita Smith, mother of Jenny says “The Intel Reader is like having a PC, digital camera, mp3 player and text to voice reader all in one.”

Jennifer Smith, author of Dyslexia Wonders has used the Intel Reader since November, 2009. Jennifer used to spend five hours each night doing reading homework. Since the Intel Reader her homework is now a manageable hour and a half each night.

“My life isn’t ruled by homework anymore”
