“Jenny’s Wish is an extremely worthwhile venture. They do fantastic work, enabling
young people with dyslexia and other learning disabilities to boost their self-esteem.
The children they help are given the opportunity to learn, grow and live their dreams -
to know that they can succeed. That is clearly a huge motivation to help them
through school, to find their talents and to achieve their full potential. keep up
the great work!!”

“My daughter had an unknown learning disability that went undiagnosed for years.
As a result, she suffered from depression and shame, sorrow and tears throughout
her young school years. I am so grateful that her disability was finally named and
treated! She was given help in time and we are extremely grateful for the care and
support we received from Jenny’s Wish. Thank You.”

As Jennifer’s Mom I saw first hand how devastating having learning difficulties can be.
I always worked hard to ensure Jenny’s self esteem would not be affected by not
being able to read. As much as I tried – she still felt stupid and frustrated.
The key would have been to get help earlier. I did my part. The system let us down.

We should be able to teach our students in a way that 95% of them can learn. Instead
we teach them using a system that is easier to teach yet 20% of the students
are left behind. Jenny was one of those.

Jenny’s Wish Foundation offers financial assistance through scholarships for students with
learning disabilities. I want to help level the playing field for students with learning disabilities
so that these students can reach their full potential.
